New! October Saturday Workshop

I have had several requests to run another afternoon workshop using acrylics. We did run one last year and it was great fun. The theme for this workshop is 'Flower Field, using acrylics working abstractly'. I am collecting names throughout August and September so if you can make it email me below and I will add you to the waiting list.

'Flower Field, using acrylics working abstractly'

3 October, at Heene Community Centre, upstairs (lift available)

£60 payable on the day cash or card

This atmospheric image above is what we will be painting. You are encouraged to experiment with materials and this workshop is ideal for those that have tried acrylics once or twice and wish to have another go.

The afternoon will consist of a demonstration by me for each stage of the painting, we will be using various types of acrylics and some of them will be provided for you to use in class.

Brief overview of Art Materials:

• either acrylic paper/canvas - this format quite large (details to follow)

• fluid acrylics

• heavier body acrylics

• acrylic pens

• brushes etc

The afternoon will be largely experimental but with lots of tips and structure along the way.
