Its been quite a while since we ran any weekend workshops. A great chance to 'have a go' at something you have never tried or just to push your skills a little further. Both workshops are at Heene Community Centre in the afternoons on 15 and 22 July. Tea and cake is included in the price.
15 July is a great way to dive into using watercolours if you have never used them before. With lots of tips, demos and how to apply colour, mix paints as well as getting some super effects with beautiful colours are all key things for you to start out. You will have a flower painting to take home.
22 July is 'experimental mixed media' workshop. Aimed at those who have done a little before but not necessarily - depending on how bold you want to be! If you want to paint a large piece then this is a good chance to have a go! Using a variety of collage, paint, under layers the subject is to paint poppies.
