I often get asked "should I start by learning how to draw?" and, as I started this way, I am very inclined to say yes! Drawing is one of the things that we learn at a very early age and even if you haven't drawn for a very long time I believe it is one of the most productive things you can do on a creative journey.

Our next one is in April - a super 3 week special on Wednesday mornings 10 - 12.30

Drawing is very inexpensive, portable and a lot of fun. You can start with a pencil and paper very simply. As you grow in confidence you might want to graduate to coloured pencils or even pastels further down the line. Learning how to draw from observation, how to depict light or even how to just doodle and create shapes is a super skill to have.

Often people think that people are born to draw but I believe that we have to learn to see and then train our minds and fingers to do the work and this is where I can help you. Being shown how to see spaces, shapes and distances, following my demonstrations of how to shade and adjust can really help.

You can check out what we have been doing in our previous drawing courses here

So, if this sounds up your street, join our beginners drawing courses, which run every 3rd month. Our next one is in April - a super 3 week special on Wednesday mornings 10 - 12.30, details are emailed to you ahead with everything you need to get started.

I hope you can join us
