Our 2026 Xmas nibbles - You are invited!

Xmas is not far away and so I am getting my thoughts together about our Christmas nibbles. We have over the last 20 years held it on the last class of the year. I have put dates below of when this is and thought I would collect ideas for our Christmas get together. Everyone who comes to classes on both Wednesdays and Thursdays are invited!

We have enjoyed over the past years doing a 'pot luck' Christmas where you bring along something small to eat. I thought that this year we should re-ignite the Secret Santa too! It has always been fun and doesn't have to be extravagant but it is quite fun!

Dates:

• Last class is the Thursday morning 17 December 9.30-12

• No class on Thursday afternoon 17 December but you are all invited to the Xmas Nibbles!

• Xmas Nibbles 12.15 - 2pm A great chance to catch up with everyone and celebrate our creativity.

• Secret Santa: this has been a lot of fun in the past. The theme is RED ART MATERIALS, under £10 or less. All you do is wrap it and then bring it along, don't forget to leave it anonymous, it will be put it in a box with all of the rest.

Contributions and what we need are listed below, do look through this provisional list and then email me to say what you can bring of course feel free to add anything you wish, this ensures we don't get too many sausage rolls!

Also please let me know if you have any allergies ahead of time.

XMAS NIBBLES LIST

• table cloths of some sort one or more - if a few people have any?

• drinks - non-alcoholic maybe? Usually is best as most people have to drive, we always have too much so 3 or 4 bottles

• crisps/nuts

• napkins

• paper cups for drinks

• paper plates

• paper cutlery

• quiche/s

• sausage rolls

• veg options

• cheese/biscuits

• other items of food you would like to contribute to

• Please bring a bag to take any food home as I am usually on my bike!

• Festive dress is encouraged!

• I will arrange hot drinks from the cafe, teas and coffees and bring some music

• mince pies - I will bring some as is the Skyblue tradition!
