June Sketchbook - The Alhambra

We are inspired by the Alhambra palace for the June Thursday morning sketchbook session. Paint, draw, collage into your sketchbook or separately and be inspired by the amazing Spanish painter Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida known as Sorolla. He is one of my personal favourites, he took his easel, canopy tent and models to the beach and painted - quite a feat at that time. If you ever get a chance to see any of his paintings do!
