Earlier in November we focused on painting portraits. One of the areas that we need to revisit is the complex painting of eyes. There are lots of elements to painting eyes and getting a real sparkle is key. Putting all these elements together is fun and can be very rewarding. Here you can see a cats eye, painted in acrylic by me, some years ago. Cats are ideal subjects as they have those glassy eyes which are so mesmerising.
