For the month of August this year I will be down at East Beach Studios, Worthing exhibiting my own paintings as a type of pop up gallery. I am also intending to run short painting classes. The studios are a lovely venue to be in, it is right along by the cafes and on the beach, some of you probably have been there already, see the map link below.
The theme of the classes is 'Abstract Seascape in Mixed Media' using watercolours and acrylics' :
you will have produced a small painting on paper of an abstract seascape using a variety of paints to take home
Inspiration will be from the surrounding Worthing Pier and pebble beach. You will be shown how to have fun with paint and how to get it to flow abstractedly using a variety of techniques, using unusual bright colours, adding texture through shown technique and combining stencils. A fun 3/4 hour awaits!
All paintings will be posted here on the Skyblue Art Class website for friends and family to see.
When: These short classes will 3/4hr long, on a daily basis throughout August. The timed slots will be between 1-3.30pm and will be bookable here on the Skyblue website soon, maximum of 2 people for each slot. Younger budding artists are also welcome!
Art materials such as acrylics, watercolour paints, cards, small canvases, brushes and use of stencils along with other necessary materials, all will be provided and are included in the price.
Location: at the studio, if the weather is really lovely we will be able to paint on the beach, or there is a small space inside to paint. Details will be given by mobile on the day, you might like to bring a portable chair

All paintings will be posted here on the Skyblue Art Class website for friends and family to see.
