If you have been to one of our popular Wednesday beginners courses over the last year or so you might be looking for a follow on course so that you can keep your skills going. This might be the thing for you!
Our Wednesday beginners courses have grown from strength to strength this year and to meet demand I have put on an extra afternoon course which has been great. The question I get asked a lot after the classes is what do I do next?
I am now designing new 2025 Beginner Carry On courses for Thursday afternoons which will replace the existing classes with the courses and run from 1-3.30pm. Everyone who currently comes to the Thursday afternoons (will have to sign up for whole course at the beginning of the month) is encouraged to join the monthly course or, if they prefer, to join the Thursday morning class, which is more of a drop-in class.
The new Beginner Carry on courses will run every month and serve as a follow on course from the Wednesday courses which means that you will learn new aspects about painting and drawing, with images provided for you at the beginning of the month (as per Wednesday groups). Topics such as practicing and refining techniques for drawing, watercolour and acrylics will be covered including colour mixing, paint application, drawing skills and much more.

Beginner Follow on courses will run on Thursday afternoons for four weeks
Times: 1-3.30pm
Cost £66 per course plus small charge for handouts
Starting on the first Thursday afternoon of every month in the downstairs room
January - Beginner Carry on Course Watercolour
February - Beginner Carry on Course Acrylics
March - Beginner Carry on Course Drawing

Those that have attended a beginners course
Not attended a course with me but have done a little and want a refresher course
Existing members who currently attend the Thursday 2024 afternoon classes (will have to sign up for whole course at the beginning of the month)
