What a lovely sunny day it was at Heene Community centre a couple of weeks back, and you all helped raise such a lot of money for the Ukraine Appeal. Thank you everyone for coming along or for growing some fabulous sunflowers. As soon as I set the table up on the Friday before it opening, they were being bought and taken home. Everything on the table was £3, we had all sizes in pots, dwarf up to the huge towering flower. Already we have lovely feedback about how they love their sunflowers. We also did well with sales of art materials too.
Margaret, from class, also donated her fabulous handmade quilt and raised £40 which has also gone to the Ukraine Appeal.
All of this was in aid of the Ukraine Appeal and has been donated to UNICEF, so in total we raised a fabulous £226!
