A huge thank you to everyone who came along to Borde Hill Gardens last Saturday. It all went fairly smoothly and having transport to pick us up was even better. The gardens at Borde Hill really are worth a visit, they are not far from the Bluebell Railway and make a lovely day out. Sectioned into different areas such as the 'Italian Garden' with lots of spots to sit and draw we made use of the drier weather in the afternoon. We didn't have to worry too much about the weather as we had our very own marquee and picnic lunch (courtesy of Kevin).
What really made it special though was that so many of you made it along and have done some super drawings and paintings from it and will have plenty of material to use in the coming weeks.
Borde Hill were delighted we had such a good time and are keen to have any 'rose' paintings for their exhibition in September.
